So, on December 19 2007 we were blacklisted by an 'organization' that will list your mail server on a blacklist if someone forwards them an email claiming that they used your mail server without proper authorization. As in the case when you have an open relay or open proxy.
So, any email administrators that use this blacklist to help filter spam for their servers will not accept ANY mail sent out from our server.
Contacted our host and with ticket#4944955 and they confirmed that our server does not have an open relay and our server was never set up with a proxy.
I had to go through a whole bunch of nonsense just to get our mail server off the blacklist. You can't contact them directly but you have to comply to their rules even if you were listed erroneously. I understand that they want server administrators to be vigilant and aware, but how about sending an email first to let us know that the server was reported?

updated ticket with removal info, will confirm removal in 24 hours.
